Kart Racing Circuit

"Real drivers drive outside"

At Deeside Activity Park we have the only purpose built asphalt kart racing circuit in NE Scotland. We use Bizz 200 racing karts, perfectly balanced and geared for the 375m circuit. Exclusive use for parties as small as 6, with instructors who really know how to drive.

Full safety brief, helmets, track walk and flag recognition before you start, a few practise laps getting to know the machine and the surface. Working up to qualifying timed laps and a place on the grid. Then a series of head to head races, to find a champion!

In 2007 we built our ‘Petrol-Head’ pavilion. A large indoor space to keep you dry whilst receiving your safety brief and most importantly, it houses our new electronic timer. No longer do we have to rely on the accuracy of our instructors to determine who is the fastest round the karting circuit. It’s all done by computer.

Kart Racing can be a stand alone activity, or part of a multi-activity event and it makes for a great finale at the end of a day.

Kart racing is such a popular activity that it seemed a shame for the younger members of the family to miss out.  So we now have a 2-seater go kart.  This is suitable for children as young as 3, to sit beside our instructor as he wizzes them round at top speed. This means that little brothers or sisters younger than 8 years old, can get involved in a family kart racing session, and it's part of the junior birthday package for the little ones.
