Welcome to Deeside Activity Park, the premier outdoor activities venue in the northeast of Scotland.

Based on Royal Deeside in Grampian, Aberdeenshire we offer a range of alternative activities. Only 45 minutes from the centre of Aberdeen we offer activities ranging from quad biking round our mud-splattered course and kart racing on our asphalt racing circuit, to hitting the bullseye on our fully automatic archery range and breaking a clay at our clay shooting facility. In addition, we also offer 4x4 offroad driving, paintball, and rifle target shooting amongst others. Our facilities include a restaurant, a farm shop, corporate conference suite, huge indoor activities arena, 3 luxury holiday cottages, and a micro-brewery.  We're open 7 days a week from 9am to 5pm, all year round.

Deeside Activity Park working in partnership with Lumphanan Golf Club
Lumphanan Golf Club and Deeside Activity Park have been discussing how to make the best use of their facilities for the benefit of both businesses and their customers. ‘It is wonderful to be working alongside Lumphanan Golf Club to offer our guests an opportunity to do some activities at the park or have lunch here and then to go on to play at the course. It’s the best of both worlds.’ said Fiona McIver, Sales and Marketing for the Park. The agreement will also give companies the opportunity to send golfers to the course when they have large corporate bookings, giving them an additional choice of activity. The first joint venture in June was a great success. Lumphanan Golf Club, a 9 hole course with spectacular views over Deeside, reopened in its current form in 2000 and has a strong membership within the local Deeside community. Working with the Park is just one of the ways they are extending their facilities to more visitors. “We are very pleased to have entered into this arrangement with Deeside Activity Park which will attract even more visitors to enjoy our course”, said Joyce Wilson, the Lady Captain. The Park and the Club are hoping that this venture will last for a long time with benefits for both organisations and encourage more people to the Deeside area to enjoy the wide range of sporting and recreational activities on offer.
Mini Moto Race Day - 25th July 2010
Mini Motos are finding it increasingly difficult to find a place to practise these days but have found a haven to practice every Sunday Morning in Deeside. Deeside Activity Park opens up its Kart Racing Circuit to mini motos every Sunday, and now they are running a race day for them. Deeside Activity Park, beside Aboyne, has a 375 m asphalt circuit, usually used for kart racing. Most Sunday mornings the park has had a good selection of riders coming along to make use of the facilities. On Sunday 25th July, the track will be open to anyone with a mini moto for Deeside Activity Park’s annual race day. Practise starts at 9am, with a break for lunch, then qualifying laps, and a series of class races, finishing with the prize giving at 3.30 pm. “It is great to open up the Kart Circuit to the mini moto racers again this year. This day will be a fun day, aimed at the hundreds of mini moto owners to put their machines through their paces in a safe environment.” Said Fiona, Sales and Marketing for the park. Depending on how many competitors turn up on the day, there could be up to 6 different classes. The classes are very important to allow everyone the chance to race against similar machines and similar experienced riders. It makes for a much fairer competition. “Lee Hepburn the Scottish Mini Moto Champion, practised at Deeside Activity Park and has taken part in many of our race days, his bike can reach top speeds of nearly 70 miles per hour. It is a great spectator sport and we welcome anyone to come along to the park on 25th July to watch the racers.” Said Fiona All riders will need helmets and elbow and knee protection. Just turn up at Deeside Activity Park anytime after 9am.

Finalists for the Northern Star Business Awards 2010 were unveiled yesterday. A total of 35 contenders were shortlisted in 12 categories for the annual celebration of north-east business success. The winners will be announced at a ceremony and dinner – hosted by TV and radio sports presenter Gabby Logan – at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre’s Press and Journal Arena on Thursday September 23. About 1,000 guests are expected to attend, making it one of the biggest events in Scotland’s business calendar. The awards – now in their seventh year – are organised by Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce. Principal sponsor for 2010 is the Aberdeen Business School at Robert Gordon University, with supporting sponsorship from Aberdeen Harbour Board. Highlights this year include a new lifetime achievement honour, which will recognise someone for their personal contribution to the north-east. Chamber chief executive Bob Collier said: “This has been another challenging year for business, so it is encouraging that the nominees and our finalists in particular have demonstrated that they have been able to up their game, grow their companies and take pride in their achievements. “It shows great potential and promise for the future economic stability of not just the north-east, but for the rest of the country and beyond. We offer the largest variety of outdoor activities in Aberdeenshire suitable for adults, children, group activities and small private parties, and perfect for days out for groups
 

Kart Racing

Race your friends round the only outdoor go kart racing circuit in the north east in our Bizz 200 racing karts.   

 

Quad biking

We have a selection of Honda 250cc & 90cc quad bikes, suitable for adults and children as young as 10 years.  Our 80 acre site is ideal for quad bike trekking where you¡¯ll cover a variety of offroad terrain.
 

Paintball

Perfect as part of a multi activity package, our paintball games are suitable for anyone over 12 years old and great when you come with a large group.
 

Stag and hen parties

Our activities are ideal for stag days out and hen parties with a selection of extreme activities ideal for groups of boys or girls

Motor sports

In addition to quad biking and go kart racing, we also offer 4x4 off road driving, digger manoeuvres, opposite steer driving, and will soon have an argocat for your entertainment.  Our motorsports are unrivalled in Aberdeenshire
 

Shooting activities

Clay shooting, archery, rifle target shooting and crossbow shooting are all available as well as paintball for those who enjoy taking aim and hitting a target
 

Alternative activities

It¡¯s not all guns and engines, join us for some gentle orienteering, powerboat manoeuvres, and axe throwing all the way from Norway.  Also, rock climbing, mountain biking, and of course, fishing on our private, well-stocked fishing loch.
